Sr. Telecommunications Engineer

Summary:

Global CTI Group is a leading service provider for clients in Central and Southern California providing VoIP and TDM telecommunications solutions to our valued clients.  The Senior Telecommunications Engineer’s role is to design, install, support and maintain our clients Telecommunications systems and new clients installation needs.  Design and support ACD, IVR, Unified Messaging and Call Management systems.  The Sr. Telecommunications Engineer’s will be responsible for the most complex Enterprise clients installation needs and service support.

Detailed Responsibilities/Duties:

Perform installation design tasks for complex implementations
Perform physical implementation tasks for implementation projects
Be available on a rotational basis for on-call after-hours support to clients after-hours needs
Train and Mentor Junior Engineers
Travel within Central and Southern California to client sites for Implementation and Service needs

Required Skills:

NEC NEAX 2400IPX and/or Univerge SV8500 certification and working knowledge – 5 yrs plus
NEC NEAX 2000IPS and/or Univerge SV8300 certification and working knowledge – 5 yrs plus
NEC NEAXMail AD-120 and/or Univerge UM8500 certification and working knowledge – 5 yrs plus
Strong working knowledge with NEC ACD, Queworxs, Global Navigator and Call Center call flow and features – 5 yrs plus
NEC VoIP and IP CCIS working knowledge and certification – 5 yrs plus

Windows Server 2003/2008 working knowledge
Working technical knowledge of TCP/IP networks and standards

Valid California Drivers license with good driving record
